Adamax after three weeks, my take vs regular Semax

So I finally got around to trying Adamax. Been curious about it for a while since I have plenty of experience with N-Acetyl Semax Amidate and wanted to see if the "longer acting, more potent" claims held up anecdotally. Ran it for about three weeks at a low intranasal dose, once daily in the morning.
For me the onset felt smoother than Semax. Less of that sharp jittery push that hits 10 minutes after a Semax spray. Adamax kinda crept up over 20-30 minutes and felt more like a clean plateau. Focus was solid, maybe not as intense as a big Semax dose, but it lasted longer. I'd say a good 4-5 hours of productive work vs the 2-ish I get from Semax before it drops off.
Downside was I got a mild headache around week two, similar to what I have gotten with other Semax variants. Backed off for a day and it went away. Also noticed some irritability if I dosed too late in the day, which tracks with the overstimulation side effect people mention.
Overall I think I prefer Adamax for longer work sessions. Semax still wins for a quick burst before a meeting or short task. Anyone else compared these two directly? Curious if the duration difference held up for you or if it was just my own experience.

- kenji_runs: Honestly the duration thing is what id want to see pinned down properly. 4-5 hours vs 2 is a decent difference but ive always wondered how much of that is just pharmacokinetics vs the acetyl group changing receptor binding. Seen people throw around the "longer half-life" claim for adamax but ive never actually tracked down a proper citation for it, mostly forum stuff. Did you notice any tolerance building over the three weeks? Thats the thing that always guts me with semax variants, by week two
- sleep_coastal: Yeah the citation thing bugs me too, never found anything solid on Adamax half-life, just people repeating it. Could totally be the acetyl group changing binding rather than actual PK differences, you're right to question that. On tolerance, anecdotally I did notice a slight flattening by week two, the focus bump wasn't as sharp as week one but the duration held up fine. Didn't escalate dose though, just rode it out. The headache you mentioned at the end, your message cut off, what were you gon
- sleep_coastal: Anecdotally I didn’t see tolerance creep in my three‑week run; focus stayed steady each morning. Headache only showed up once I pushed the dose past my usual low spray, and it faded fast after I dropped back. Duration felt closer to five hours for me.
