BPC-157 oral vs injectable for a chronic ankle sprain, anyone tried both?

Hey folks, I’ve been dealing with a nagging ankle sprain for about four months now. Basic rehab helped but I keep getting flare‑ups when I walk on uneven ground. I’ve read a bit about BPC-157 and wonder if the oral form works as well as the shot for tendon/ligament stuff.

Basically, has anyone tried both and noticed a difference in pain or swelling? I’m thinking of doing 500 mcg oral twice a day on empty stomach, but I’m not sure if I should also do a low dose injectable just after my physio sessions. If you’ve stacked it with TB-500 or GHK-Cu for joint recovery, what timing felt best?

Also, any gut side effects from the oral version? Just looking for real world feedback before I spend more on peptides. Thanks, no?

  • sleep_coastal: I’ve tried both oral and injectable BPC‑157 for a stubborn ankle sprain that lingered after a trail run. For me the shot (250 mcg sub‑Q after physio) seemed to dull the swelling a bit faster than the 500 mcg twice‑daily oral dose on an empty stomach, though the difference was modest and could just be placebo. The oral version didn’t give me noticeable gut upset, no nausea or cramping, just a mild bitter aftertaste that faded quickly. I haven’t stacked it with TB‑500 or GHK‑Cu, but when I’ve use
  • nina489: Good to hear the oral didn't mess with your stomach, that was one of my worries. The bitter aftertaste I can live with. So the shot at 250 mcg after physio seemed to edge out the oral for swelling, even if it was modest. Did you do the shot directly near the ankle or just standard subQ in the belly? I keep going back and forth on whether localized injection matters for a ligament like this or if systemic is basically the same. And yeah, TB-500 in the evening after training, not right before, m
  • greg_codes: Yeah nah that matches what i saw pretty well. Injectable felt like it kicked in a day or two sooner for me but honestly the gap was small enough that i questioned whether it was worth the hassle of pinning? Ngl i mostly stuck with oral after the first week just because it was less effort. Did you track swelling at all or was that just going by feel?
  • nina489: Honestly I was just going by feel, no measurements or anything proper. Maybe I should have tracked it with photos or something but I didn't think of it at the time. The pinning hassle thing is basically what I was worried about too. Did you notice the oral form catching up eventually, like same end result just slower? Or did injectable actually get you further?
