Wolverine stack dosing frequency, has anyone experimented with splitting BPC-157 vs once daily?

So i've been running the wolverine stack for about 3 weeks now for a stubborn achilles thing that wont clear up. Going with the standard protocol from the profile page here, BPC-157 500mcg daily and TB-500 2.5mg twice a week. Honestly seems to be helping a bit but its hard to tell if its the peptides or just me finally resting properly for once.
Question i've got is about the BPC-157 timing. With a half life around 4 hours, dosing once a day means you've got basically nothing in your system for most of the day. Has anyone tried splitting the 500mcg into two 250mcg doses morning and evening? Reckon that might keep levels a bit more stable but i cant find much actual evidence either way. Most people just say "do 500 once a day" but nobody explains why that's better than splitting.
Also curious if anyone has gone higher than 500mcg daily on the BPC side and noticed a meaningful difference. Seen some protocols floating around at 250mcg twice daily which is the same total but split, and others going up to 1mg total. Just wondering if there's a sweet spot or if its all guesswork at this point.
Cheers for any input, keen to hear what's actually worked for people rather than just copy pasted protocol sheets.

- curious_scientist: I split mine when I ran BPC for a nagging rotator cuff thing. Did 250 morning and 250 evening. Seemed to help more than the once-daily approach I tried first, but honestly that could've been because I was also doing better rehab work by then. Hard to separate the variables. The half-life argument makes sense on paper but I'm not convinced it matters as much as people think. BPC-157 seems to do stuff that outlasts its presence in circulation, like triggering repair pathways that keep going after
- kenji_runs: Yeah the rehab confound is exactly what worries me about my own read on it too, im also doing eccentric loading now so who knows whats actually doing the work That point about downstream repair pathways outlasting the peptide itself is fair, hadn't really thought about it that way. Reckon you saw anything specific that made you think thats whats happening or is it more a gut feeling from how it seemed to work for you?
- sleep_coastal: That downstream repair pathway argument is a good one and I kinda lean the same way. Anecdotally I split BPC for a medial elbow thing last year and honestly couldn't tell the difference vs once daily. Could just be me. The mechanism you're describing, where it kicks off something that keeps running after the peptide clears, would explain why people get results on once-daily dosing despite that short half-life. Hard to prove either way without bloodwork or imaging but the real-world results seem
- kenji_runs: Cheers for that, thats actually really useful to hear. Medial elbow is similar enough tissue-wise to achilles i reckon, so if you didnt notice much difference splitting vs once daily thats probably my answer. Might just stick with 500 once a day and stop overthinking it. Out of curiosity how long did you run it for the elbow thing before you felt it was sorted? Just trying to gauge whether 3 weeks in with only mild improvement is normal or if i should give it more time.
