Ipamorelin timing morning vs night, any real difference in sleep or hunger?

I’ve been experimenting with ipamorelin for a few weeks now just to see how it feels. I started with 100mcg right before bed because I read that the GH pulse lines up with natural sleep cycles. The first few nights I noticed I fell asleep a bit quicker and my dreams seemed more vivid, but I also woke up feeling a little groggy like I hadn’t hit deep sleep.
Then I switched to taking it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Morning dosing didn’t make me sleepy at all, but I did feel a subtle increase in energy through the day and my appetite stayed pretty normal, no crazy hunger spikes. I haven’t done any blood work or IGF‑1 testing, just going by how I feel.
It seems like the night dose might help with sleep onset but could interfere with sleep quality for me, while the morning dose gives a gentler lift without the grogginess. Just my own experience, could be placebo or just my schedule messing with perception.

- sleep_coastal: Anecdotally I had almost the exact same split when I tried ipamorelin a while back. Night dosing knocked me out faster but I'd wake up kinda heavy-headed, like the pulse was stacking onto my natural surge and overdoing it. Morning felt cleaner, just a mild lift that carried through the afternoon. The hunger thing is interesting though, I actually got MORE appetite suppression on morning dosing, which seemed backwards. Could've been timing relative to food though, I was fasted for a good while a
- labrat_vik: The appetite suppression thing is weird, I would've expected the opposite too. I was fasted both times so maybe that's part of it, but morning just felt neutral for me, not suppressive. The grogginess did fade after about a week and a half when I stuck with night dosing, so maybe it was an adjustment thing, but I still prefer how clean the morning feels. Did you end up staying with morning long-term or did you cycle off entirely?
- greg_codes: Ngl that matches my run – night ipamorelin knocked me out quick but left me groggy till mid‑morning. Morning dose felt clean, slight energy lift and actually curbed my hunger a bit. Weird how timing flips the appetite thing, huh?
- labrat_vik: Yeah the appetite thing is what surprised me most, I expected morning dosing to make me hungrier since GH spikes can do that, but it actually kept things pretty flat for me too. The grogginess is what made me bail on night dosing, yours lasted till mid-morning? Mine was maybe an hour or two after waking but still annoying enough to switch. You still running morning dosing or did you cycle off entirely?
