CagriSema dual pathway data, anyone tracked HRV or resting HR vs semaglutide alone?

Been on semaglutide for about 4 months now, titrated up to 1.7mg weekly. Tracked resting HR the whole time and noticed it dropped about 4-5 bpm from baseline. HRV went up maybe 8-10ms on average which was a bit surprising? Figured the weight loss alone would explain some of that but the timing lined up pretty close with each titration step.

Been reading up on cagrisema (/peptides/cagrisema) and the amylin plus GLP-1 dual pathway thing sounds interesting on paper. Cagrilintide hits satiety through a completely different mechanism so in theory the additive effect makes sense. But i'm curious whether the metabolic side effects stack differently too?

Like does the gastric emptying slowdown from both compounds compound in a way that tanks HRV or spikes resting HR? Or is it basically the same as semaglutide alone just with more appetite suppression? Ngl the idea of getting closer to that 20-25% weight loss range is pretty tempting but i want to see some real numbers before jumping on it.

Anyone here gone from semaglutide monotherapy to cagrisema or added cagrilintide on top? Did you notice any change in your overnight metrics? Sleep quality better or worse? Keen to hear any actual tracked data rather than just "felt less hungry" because honestly that could just be placebo without numbers behind it.

  • labrat_vik: 7mg weekly for about five months and logged my resting heart rate and HRV every morning. My resting HR fell roughly 4‑5 bpm from baseline and HRV crept up 8‑10ms, which lined up with each dose increase. I haven’t tried cagrisema myself, but the idea of stacking a GLP‑1 with an amylin analogue makes me wonder if the added GI slowing would amplify those autonomic shifts or just pile on more appetite control without changing the cardiovascular trend. If anyone’s moved from semaglutide alone to cagr
  • greg_codes: Wait your numbers are basically identical to mine? Same 4-5 bpm drop, same 8-10ms HRV bump, same titration correlation. That's either a cool coincidence or there's a pretty consistent autonomic pattern with semaglutide dose escalation. Keen to hear if anyone's actually made the jump to cagrisema too, the GI stacking question is what i keep coming back to. Two compounds both slowing gastric emptying seems like it could hit sleep quality differently even if resting HR stays on the same trend?
  • curious_scientist: Your numbers are almost identical to mine which is kinda wild. The GI slowing question is the interesting part imo. Amylin slows gastric emptying too, so stacking both could theoretically compound that vagal effect. Whether that shows up in HRV as a bigger parasympathetic push or just more nausea without additional autonomic benefit, I genuinely don't know. Would love to see someone's actual before-and-after data on that switch.
  • greg_codes: Yeah the vagal angle is exactly what i'm wondering about too. Like if both compounds are hitting gastric emptying through different pathways, does the parasympathetic signal just double up or does it plateau? Ngl i'd switch just to track it but the cost isn't trivial. Keen to see if anyone here has actually made the jump and kept their HRV data running through it. The nausea confound would be annoying to parse out though? Hard to separate autonomic shift from just feeling rough.
