Boswellia AKBA alongside BPC-157 for tendon recovery, anyone stacked these two?

I have been running BPC-157 subQ for a nagging rotator cuff thing, around 250 mcg twice a day for about three weeks. It seems to be helping, anecdotally. The ache is way less in the morning and I can actually sleep on that side again. But there is still some residual inflammation that flares after I do any overhead work at the gym.

I was looking at Boswellia AKBA as a non-NSAID anti-inflammatory option. I already asked about diclofenac gel on here and got good feedback about NSAIDs potentially blunting healing. Boswellia works on the 5-LOX pathway instead of COX, so theoretically it should not interfere with the healing process the same way NSAIDs might. The profile says 100-250 mg standardized AKBA once or twice daily.

Has anyone actually run Boswellia alongside BPC-157 for a tendon or joint injury? Did you feel like the combo helped more than BPC alone? I am wondering if the anti-inflammatory effect from Boswellia is strong enough to matter for acute post-workout flare-ups, or if it is more of a slow background thing. Also curious if anyone noticed any GI stuff from it, since the profile mentions mild nausea as a possible side effect. I already get occasional nausea from BPC so I am a little wary of stacking two things that both hit my stomach.

  • curious_scientist: I tried Boswellia AKBA for a similar shoulder thing last year, alongside BPC-157. Honestly the Boswellia felt like a slow background thing for me, not something that knocked out an acute flare quickly. Took maybe two weeks before I noticed less morning stiffness. Never got GI issues from it but the BPC nausea I know well, that hit me too around week two. The 5-LOX angle makes sense to me theoretically, you are not messing with prostaglandin signaling the way COX inhibitors do. But I am not sure
