TB-500 injection site irritation – what helped me reduce it

I started adding TB-500 to my GLOW stack a few months ago hoping for better recovery after long rides. Anecdotally the first few injections left a small red bump that stayed tender for about a day. I figured it was just the needle but it kept happening even when I switched to a finer gauge.

Anecdotally I noticed the irritation was worse when I injected into the same spot on my abdomen two days in a row. After reading a bit about tissue trauma I started rotating sites more aggressively – moving between abdomen thighs and love handles each session. I also started icing the area for thirty seconds right after the pinch and that seemed to calm the flare‑up faster.

Anecdotally the bumps are now barely visible and gone within a few hours. If you’re seeing similar irritation try rotating more and maybe a quick cold compress – it’s helped me keep the stack going without skipping doses. Let me know if anyone else has found other tricks that work.
