Metformin vs low dose rapamycin for longevity, anyone tracked markers?

Hey folks i’ve been reading up on metformin and rapamycin as possible longevity tools and wondered if anyone here has actually tried either and tracked any biomarkers over a few months. For what it is worth i started metformin 500mg with dinner a couple of weeks ago just to see how my body reacts – i’m a nurse practitioner so i’m used to monitoring labs but i’m definitely new to self‑experimenting with these compounds. For what it is worth i haven’t noticed any major GI upset yet but i do feel a bit more steady energy on my long runs, though that could just be placebo or better sleep.
I’m planning to get a basic metabolic panel and B12 check after six weeks to see if anything shifts. For what it is worth i’m also curious about low dose rapamycin (maybe 3mg once weekly) but i’m a bit wary of the mouth sore side effect and the lipid changes i’ve read about. If anyone has run either or both and kept track of things like fasting glucose, lipids, or even just subjective energy and recovery i’d love to hear what you saw.
