BPC-157 oral for tendon pain after rehab

so i tried bpc-157 oral after my shoulder tendon got stuck during a firefighter rescue. doc said rest and physio but it still ached for weeks. ordered the oral form since injections felt too much. took 750mcg daily for two weeks.

first week was rough. stomach ache for first day, then nausea every time i ate. thought i’d stop but pain was worse. second week pain dropped a bit. not gone but less sharp. maybe placebo? who knows.

timing mattered. took it before rehab sessions. helped a little with movement. felt like i could stretch more. but no magic. still stuck sometimes.

side effects stayed mild. no liver issues or anything. just that nausea. stopped after two weeks since physio said it healed.

anyone else use oral for tendon stuff? timing with workouts or recovery days? or should i stick to injections next time?

  • nina489: I tried oral BPC‑157 for a nagging elbow tendon after a long shift, 500mcg twice a day for ten days. Basically I felt a dull ache ease a bit after the first week, but I also had mild nausea whenever I ate, so I wasn’t sure if it was the peptide or just my stomach reacting. Did anyone notice better results when they took it right before physio versus on rest days? I’m wondering if splitting the dose or trying a low‑dose injection might give steadier levels without the gut upset. For me the oral
  • elle187: actually i had same nausea when eating, it was very annoying. i think bioavailability is probably lower for oral, since my shoulder still felt stuck sometimes. i took it right before rehab and it seemed to help movement more than on rest days. i think the timing helps. did you find the 500mcg twice a day was too much? i only did 750mcg once and still felt sick... maybe lower dose is better for stomach.
  • erin_rows: To be fair, I did that exact split‑dose trick – 250 mcg pre‑session, 250 mcg on a rest day – and the nausea calmed down a bit. I still felt the elbow loosen up after a session, more so than on the rest day. Give it a go and keep your HRV in check – maybe the gut just hates the sharp start.
