Have others tried Thymosin Alpha‑1 to boost vaccine responses?

I recently started looking into Thymosin Alpha appena (TA1) after seeing it used in hepatitis B/C patients and catching a few online threads about its immune‑modulating properties. 6 mg subcut twice a week for about six weeks leading up to my annual flu jab. Injection site irritation was the only side effect, just a bit of mild redness that resolved in a day.

After the shot I used a home antibody panel and noticed a slightly higher IgG titer than my typical baseline, although I know that’s just my own measurement and could be placebo. The main difference I felt was a noticeably reduced flu‑like soreness that usually follows the vaccine. I’m not claiming a cure; just sharing what happened to me.

HaveBerry anyone else tried TA1 around immunizations or other immune stressors? Also, does a weekly injection seem as effective as the twice‑weekly schedule, or is there a real benefit to spaced dosing? I’d love to hear other experiences.

  • talia_coldplunge: not gonna lie i’ve been curious about TA1 too i tried a low dose 2mg subcut once a week for a month before my covid booster just to see if it’d change anything i didn’t notice any big difference in antibody levels but the usual arm soreness felt a bit milder that time could just be placebo or maybe i was less stressed that week i’m wondering if the twice‑weekly schedule really makes a difference or if once a week is enough for most people has anyone tried splitting the dose vs taking it all at o
  • aisha_z: I did 6 mg twice a week for six weeks before my flu jab, saw mild redness but no other issues, and a small boost in IgG with less soreness. Since you used 2 mg once weekly, did you notice any change in how long the arm soreness lasted? Have you ever tried splitting the dose into two smaller shots to see if that alters the effect?
