Rapamycin Weekly Dosing: How Did It Affect My Sleep & Energy?

Posted by biohacker_priya in Longevity & Anti-Aging - 1 points, 0 comments.

I started 4 mg rapamycin once a week about three months ago. The first week I got a mild mouth sore that cleared up after a day or two. I’ve not had any major side effects, but I did notice my sleep a couple of nights after the dose.

I woke up early, felt a bit jittery, and had a hard time falling back asleep. By the next night it was back to normal, so I’m not sure if it’s a one‑off or the drug is messing with my circadian rhythm. I’m also looking at my lipid panel because the label warns about elevated lipids; I plan to get a repeat test in a month.

In addition, I’ve been taking 2 g of taurine daily to boost mitochondrial function and see if it helps with the energy intangibles from the rapamycin. Anyoneimap has info on monitoring or cycling rapamycin with other antioxidants like alpha‑lipoic acid injections? I’m curious if that combination could blunt the side effects or improve the benefits. Thanks for any pointers.
