New to peptides – how do I work out the dose from a lyophilized vial?

Hey mates, I’ve just got my first vial of BPC-157 and it’s lyophilized powder with bacteriostatic water on the side. I’m totally new to this stuff and the label says 5 mg per vial. I’m trying to figure out how much water to add to get a 250 mcg dose per shot.

I’ve seen people talk about reconstitution math but I’m not sure if I’m doing it right. 05 ml on an insulin syringe, but that feels tiny and I’m worried I’m messing up the math. Can someone walk me through the steps in plain English?

Also, should I be storing the mixed solution in the fridge and using it within a certain time? Any tips for a first‑timer would be gold.
