How much bacteriostatic water do I really need for a 5mg BPC-157 vial?

Hey folks, I’m totally new to this and feeling a bit overwhelmed. I just got a 5mg vial of BPC-157 and the packet says to reconstitute with bacteriostatic water but doesn’t give a exact volume. I’ve seen people talk about 1ml or 2ml but I’m not sure what that means for the concentration when I draw it up.
Ngl, I’m worried about messing up the math and ending up with too strong or too weak a dose. Could someone walk me through the steps in plain English? 1ml on an insulin syringe? And should I keep the vial in the fridge after mixing?
