New to Dihexa – how much bacteriostatic water for a 5mg vial?

Hey mates, I’m totally new to this peptide thing and just got a 5mg Dihexa vial lyophilised. I’ve read the typical SubQ dose is 2-5mg daily and I want to start low, maybe 1mg to see how I feel. I’m not sure how much bacteriostatic water to add to make the math easy.
2ml would be 1mg – does that sound right? Or do folks usually use a different volume to avoid drawing such a small amount? I’m an ICU nurse so I’m used to sterile technique but the peptide side feels a bit foreign.
Also, anyone noticed any head‑ache or overstimulation at that low dose? Just keen to hear what worked for you lot when you first started. No worries if it’s just placebo, keen to keep it safe and see if it helps with focus during night shifts.
