How much bacteriostatic water do I need for a 5mg Pinealon vial?

Hey mates, totally new to this peptide stuff and I’m trying to figure out the basics before I even think about using anything. I got a 5mg vial of Pinealon (Glu‑Asp‑Arg) and the info says typical research dose is around 5‑10 mg per day for a short course. I’m confused about how much bacteriostatic water to add to make it easy to measure. 1 ml equals 1 mg, do I just add 5 ml of water to the 5mg powder?

  • curious_scientist: I usually add 2 ml of bacteriostatic water to a 5 mg Pinealon vial. 4 ml is roughly 1 mg. It’s easier to measure small doses that way than trying to pull 5‑10 ml from a 1 mg/ml mix. Just swirl the vial gently until the powder dissolves, no vigorous shaking. For me the solution stayed clear and stable for a few weeks in the fridge. Your math is right if you want 1 mg/ml, but I find a higher concentration works better for low‑dose dosing. How are you planning to split your doses?
