Confused about ARA-290 vs EPO for nerve stuff

I have been reading up on ARA-290 lately because I have been dealing with some annoying nerve tingles in my hands. Ngl, I was initially looking at EPO stuff but then I saw this peptide mentioned for neuropathic pain.
It seems like the main difference is that ARA-290 targets the innate repair receptor without actually messing with your red blood cell count. That sounds brilliant because I do not want to risk thickening my blood or anything like that.
I am a bit of a novice with this though. Most of the info I find is quite vague. I have seen some mentions of a 1 to 4 mg dose per day, but I am not sure how people actually structure a course of it. Does anyone have experience with how long a typical run lasts? Also, I am curious if the injection site reactions are actually a common thing or if people just complain about them. I am quite keen to get my head around the basics before I even think about starting anything. If anyone has seen any decent papers on the mechanism of how it avoids the hematopoietic side effects, let me know.
