Mild nausea and bowel changes with oral BPC-157 – anyone else?

Posted by optimizer_jenna in Safety & Side Effects - 1 points, 0 comments.

I started oral BPC-157 (arginate salt) about two weeks ago to help with occasional gut discomfort I’ve had since a stressful semester. I took 250 mcg twice a day on an empty stomach as suggested. The first few days I felt a bit of nausea, nothing severe, just queasy enough to skip my morning coffee.

My bowel habits also shifted – I went from regular to a bit looser for about three days, then it settled back. After the first week the nausea faded and my digestion feels a bit smoother, though I’m not sure if it’s the peptide or just eating more fiber. Has anyone else noticed similar mild GI effects when starting oral BPC-157?

Did taking it with a small snack help reduce the nausea for you? I’m thinking of getting basic bloodwork just to check liver and inflammation markers, but I’d love to hear your experiences first. Thanks for any input. Tbh I’m still learning so please correct me if I’m missing something obvious.
