Confused about Matrixyl vs Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 for skin stuff

I have been looking into getting into some topical peptides for my skin, but I am a bit lost with the different names. I keep seeing Matrixyl mentioned everywhere, but then I see Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 popping up in different discussions. Ngl, the names are a bit of a headache when you are just starting out.
From what I have read, Matrixyl seems to be more about the collagen stimulation side of things. I think it uses the TGF-B pathway to try and get the skin to produce more collagen and hyaluronic acid. Then I see Pal-Tetrapeptide-7 being talked about for reducing IL-6 and dealing with inflammation.
I am wondering if these are actually separate things or if they are just different parts of the same thing. I saw something about a Matrixyl 3000 combo that uses both. Does anyone actually use them separately, or is it better to just look for a cream that has the blend? I am quite keen to try something for skin firmness but I do not want to waste money on a single peptide if a combo is better.
