Wnt pathway activation and PTD-DBM for hair neogenesis

I was reading about PTD-DBM recently and it seems quite fascinating, though I am a bit skeptical about how quickly we can expect results. The idea of using a cell-penetrating peptide to activate the Wnt/beta-catenin pathway for follicle neogenesis is actually very clever. Most things we see are just trying to slow down loss, but this is about creating something new.
The research mentioning the use of valproic acid to induce this pathway is interesting, but it also makes me a little nervous since that is a pretty heavy substance to be pairing with research peptides. Tbh, I am not sure if the safety profile for long-term topical use is fully understood yet. I have been looking into GHK-Cu for scalp health since it seems more established for angiogenesis, but the idea of actual neogenesis with PTD-DBM is much more ambitious.
Has anyone here actually looked into the specific research regarding the Wnt pathway disruption with CXXC5? I would love to see more concrete human data before I get too excited. It feels like one of those things that sounds perfect in a lab setting but might be much harder to manage on a real scalp.
