Mild injection‑site swelling with ARA‑290 – any tips to reduce it?

I’ve been running a 3‑week course of ARA‑290 for chronic neuropathic pain (1 mg subcut daily). For the first five days everything felt fine, but around day 6 I started noticing a small, tender bump at the injection spot on my lower abdomen. It’s not painful, just a bit raised and a little reddened, lasting about 12–18 hours before flattening out. My HRV dip on those days seemed a bit bigger too, but could just be normal variation.
I’ve tried rotating sites, using a 30‑gauge needle, and wiping the skin with alcohol before injection. The bump still shows up, though it seems a tad less pronounced when I let the needle go in at a slightly shallower angle. Has anyone else seen this with ARA‑290? Any proven ways to calm the local reaction – maybe a topical antihistamine or a warm compress? I’m keeping an eye on my blood pressure and blood counts (no changes so far), but would love any practical advice to keep the site irritation down.
