Curiosity about moving into psychedelics for mental wellness research

I have been mostly focused on recovery and growth stuff lately, like my bpc-157 and ghk-cu combo, but i have been reading a lot more about the mental health research side of things, specifically regarding serotonergic compounds. It seems like there is a huge shift happening in how people view these for long term wellbeing, especially with the interest in mescaline and how it interacts with serotonin 5-ht2a receptors.

I am curious if anyone here has actually looked into using things like 4-aco-dmt for their own mental health research, or if you think the phenethylamine profile of mescaline is a better route for someone wanting to study mood stability. I noticed the literature mentions mescaline can cause pretty intense nausea and a much longer experience than tryptamines, which sounds a bit daunting for a first time observation.

I am trying to decide if it is worth looking into these for mood regulation or if i should just stick to my current physical recovery protocols. Has anyone found that these kinds of compounds actually helped with their baseline mood, or did it just feel like a temporary spike? I would love to hear about your observations if you have tracked any data on your own mood or anxiety levels.
