Experiences with rapamycin and lipds?

I have been reading quite a bit about rapamycin lately, especially regarding how it inhibits mTORC1 to trigger autophagy. It seems like a very interesting way to mimic caloric restriction at a cellular level. I am curious if anyone here has noticed changes in their lipid profiles while using it for longevity.
Anecdotally, I have heard that it can sometimes cause elevated lipids, which is a bit concerning for me. I am thinking about trying a low dose, maybe around 3 to 6 mg once a week, but I want to be careful with how I approach it. I am also wondering if anyone has noticed any mouth sores or GI upset like the literature suggests.
I have a biology background, so I understand the theory behind cellular recycling, but the practical side of monitoring things like cholesterol or triglycerides seems tricky. Has anyone been tracking their bloodwork closely while doing a pulsed protocol? I would appreciate hearing how you manage the monitoring side of things. I want to make sure I am being sensible about the risks.
