BPC-157 and TB-500 for chronic Achilles tendonitis

I have been struggling with a very annoying Achilles tendon issue for several months now. It is mostly a dull ache that becomes sharp when I try to run or even walk long distances on pavement. I am trying to be quite careful with my recovery because I do not want to make it a permanent problem.
I am thinking about starting a combination of BPC-157 and TB-500 to see if it helps. For my own research, I have seen people using BPC-157 at around 500 mcg twice a day. I am curious if anyone here has tried using the injectable version specifically for tendon issues like this. I read that BPC-157 might help with angiogenesis, which is the formation of new blood vessels, but I am not sure how much that actually matters for a chronic tendon injury.
Has anyone had success using these together for long term tendon repair? I am also wondering about the timing. Should I be using them alongside my physical therapy exercises or wait until the inflammation goes down? I want to be cautious and not rush back into heavy training too soon. Any personal experiences with this specific area would be very useful.

- optimizer_jenna: I actually used BPC-157 for a similar issue with my ankle since a few months ago. It seemed to help with the dull ache, but I think it could just be placebo. I am still skeptical about the angiogenesis part because tendons have such poor blood supply. Tbh I did my physical therapy at the same time. I was worried that waiting for inflammation to vanish would just lead to more stiffness. For me, the movement seemed to help the peptide work better, though I was very conservative with the load. Cou
- patient_sauna: I have not found any specific papers on timing for physical therapy, mostly just forum posts and general guides. I agree with you about the blood supply being poor, which is why I was questioning the angiogenesis part. I will probably follow your lead and keep moving the ankle gently instead of waiting for all inflammation to go. It makes sense that stiffness is a risk. I just worry about pushing too hard.
- reid140: I actually felt the same way about the blood flow thing, but my recovery seemed WAY faster when i kept moving. Im not sure about the papers but for me, doing light mobility work while using BPC-157 felt like it pushed the healing along. Imo the movement just keeps things from locking up while the peptide does its thing 😅
- patient_sauna: I agree about the stiffness. That is why I was asking about physiotherapy. For me, the ache is quite stubborn, so I am worried that too much movement too early might cause a flare up. Your experience with light mobility work sounds promising though. I will try to start with very gentle stretching first. Did you find that you needed to wait a few weeks into the BPC-157 cycle before you started moving more?
