My experience with weekly rapamycin and lipid changes

I started a low dose weekly rapamycin cycle about four months ago. I am using a dose of 5 mg once a week, which I chose because I wanted to try the pulsed approach for autophagy. For the first two months, I felt quite good. My energy levels seemed steady and I did not notice any major issues with my digestion or mouth sores, which I had read about quite often. πŸ“š

However, I recently had my bloodwork done and noticed my LDL and total cholesterol have definitely gone up compared to my baseline. It is not a massive jump, but it is enough to make me cautious. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this shift while staying on a weekly schedule.

I am also thinking about whether I should combine this with something like metformin to help with the metabolic side, or if that might be too much at once. It is a bit stressful to see the lipids move like that when the goal is long term health. If you have navigated this, I would love to hear how you managed your monitoring or if you adjusted your timing. πŸ‘€
