Rapamycin and the fear of mouth sores

I have been reading up on /peptides/rapamycin and the idea of cellular recycling sounds brilliant, but i am terrified of the mouth sores, does anyone actually get them on a low dose or is it just a scare tactic for the weak, i reckon i could handle a bit of a sore lip if it means i stop decaying in real time, but i am a complete beginner here so i do not want to wake up looking like i ate a battery.
Also, is it true that you have to pulse it once a week or can i just wing it and take it when i remember, probably a bad idea but i am curious if anyone has tried a more chaotic schedule, i am quite keen to try something for longevity but i do not want to accidentally turn off my immune system while i am trying to live forever, cheers to anyone who can explain the maths on the weekly dose without making me feel like i failed primary school.

- amber724: I did not get any mouth sores when I tried small doses once a week. For me, it was mostly just a bit of fatigue in the afternoons? It could be placebo or just luck, but I did not look like I ate a battery. If you want to avoid issues, you should talk to a doctor about your specific health. Winging the schedule is probably not good idea. Most people do a weekly pulse to let the drug clear out so it does not constantly suppress immune system. If you do 5mg once a week, that is 35mg over seven day
- amber281: Thanks for the info, i'm quite chuffed to hear you didn't end up with the battery mouth, that makes me feel a bit better, the afternoon fatigue sounds like a bit of a drag though, i wonder if that is something i should expect if i try a similar small dose, did you find you had to nap or was it just a bit of a slump, i reckon i'll stick to a set day rather than being a total chaos agent, cheers for the maths on the weekly dose too, it makes much more sense now.
