How do i even start with ca-akg

I am totally new to this whole research side of things and honestly it is a bit overwhelming. I keep seeing ca-akg /peptides/ca-akg mentioned in all these longevity threads but i am lost on where to even begin. Not gonna lie i feel like i am reading a different language half the time.

I was looking into it because i heard it helps with cellular energy and stuff for aging but i do not get how people actually use it. I see some people talking about taking 1g or 3g a day but i do not know if that is even right for a beginner. I am also a bit worried about my stomach because i have a sensitive gut and i heard it might cause some gi upset if the dose is too high.

For a while i thought i could just swallow a pill and be done with it but it seems more complicated than that. Does anyone have tips for a complete newbie on how to read these protocols without losing my mind? Also if you have tried it for energy let me know if it actually felt like anything or if it was just placebo for you. Sir please help me out.

For ca-akg, most research papers look at doses around 1g per day, but people in these forums often push much higher. I started very low, maybe just 500mg, because my stomach is also quite sensitive. I found that going too fast definitely caused some cramping and bloating, so maybe start small to see how you react, right? For me, the energy boost was not like a caffeine rush. It felt more like a subtle improvement in my daily stami
  • honest_macros: Not gonna lie i was hoping for a caffeine rush but subtle stamina sounds okay sir. Thanks for the tip on 500mg since you also had cramping and bloating. I will try starting there so i do not have to spend the whole day in the cr. Do you think the energy boost takes a few weeks to kick in or did you feel it immediately?
