Rat studies for achilles repair actually showing something

I found this study from joint diseases and related surgery about bpc-157 and tb-500 for achilles tendon repair in rats. It basically looks at how the extracellular matrix and tissue organisation improved during the early stages of healing.
Honestly i am always a bit skeptical of rat models because the maths rarely translates perfectly to humans. That said, it seems spot on with what i felt during my own rehab. For me, the combo seemed to make the tissue feel less brittle, though it could just be placebo. The study mentions tb-500 helps with the actual structure, which makes me reckon the synergy is real.
I am still keen to see some actual human data before i am fully convinced. Do you lot think we are just overhyping the synergy because it feels good, or is there a genuine mechanical difference when stacking these two for tendons?
