This article from Healthy Male talks about the side effects of MK-677, specifically the risk of heart failure and the impact on insulin sensitivity. It points out how blood glucose can spike and how insulin sensitivity often drops during use.
I reckon this is spot on and something people tend to ignore when they are just chasing gains. In my own experience, I felt a bit sluggish and had some weird water retention that made me feel quite bloated. It could just be placebo or my diet, but I noticed my fasting glucose crept up a bit during my last run. I think the warnings about diabetes-like symptoms are fair, and it is why I prefer cycling it rather than running it non-stop.
Do any of you lot use metformin or a specific diet to keep your glucose in check while on this stuff, or do you just take a break when the bloating gets too much?
