First-time peptide reconstitution, how do I even start?

So I decided to finally try some peptides I've been reading about and now I'm staring at a vial of powder and a bottle of bacteriostatic water like it's supposed to make sense. I watched a couple YouTube videos but they either went too fast or assumed I already knew what a syringe size meant. My question is basically: how do I mix this stuff without messing it up?

Do I just squirt the water straight into the powder or does it hit the side? And how much water do I actually use, is there a ratio or do I just wing it? I've got insulin syringes from when I had that minor procedure last year but those are U-100 and I'm not sure if that matters for peptides.

Also how do I store the mixed stuff, fridge? And how long is it good for? I feel kinda silly asking but nobody in my usual yoga circles touches this stuff and the online forums either assume you already know or they're selling you something. Anybody done this for the first time and remember what confused them?
