FDA cracks down on 25 compounded GLP-1 clinics for sketchy claims

Saw this hit my feed this morning, FDA just sent warning letters to 25 firms pushing compounded GLP-1 products with dodgy marketing claims. Stuff like "miracle weight loss cure" and unproven safety claims. As someone who's toyed with peptides on and off, it feels like the regulators are finally catching up to the grey-market boom we've seen over the last couple years. Not surprised though, I've seen too many influencers online peddling "research only" compounds with zero oversight. What gets me is how the article leaves out whether these compounding pharmacies are actually following proper guidelines or just slapping "research use" labels on everything to dodge scrutiny. My own experience has been cautious, I've stuck to sources that at least provide batch testing info, but I know plenty who've gotten burned by underground labs with no accountability.
Question for the thread: anyone else been following the FDA's recent enforcement actions, or has the crackdown been old news in your circles?
