BPC-157 for an old shoulder injury

Been lurking here for a while. Finally decided to try something for my shoulder. It is an old injury that just never quite felt right... Basically just constant nagging soreness.
I have been looking at BPC-157 since it seems to be the go to for healing. I am kinda nervous about the actual needle part. I have seen some videos on reconstitution and using insulin syringes, but the math always feels a bit tricky.
For me, the biggest worry is just doing the math wrong on the bacteriostatic water. I do not want to accidentally dose too high because I am a beginner.
I have seen people mention different dosages in various posts. Some say 250mcg, others say 500mcg. I am wondering if anyone else started really low just to see how they reacted.
It could just be placebo, but I am hoping for some actual relief so I can get back to training normally. Just my own experience with injuries, but I tend to be over cautious with this stuff...
