Got Redness & Itching with Compounded Semaglutide, any tips?

I started the compounded semaglutide a few weeks ago after switching from brand because the price dropped. For the first couple of injections I had mild swelling and a dull itch at the arm where I was injecting. ngl I’m a bit nervous about it. I’ve been rotating sites between the upper arm and thigh, but the irritation keeps popping up in the same spot. I’m using a 32‑g needle at a 45‑degree angle, but the skin still looks a bit inflamed after 12–24 hours. I wonder if the compounded solution’s excipients are a bigger deal, or if it’s just my sensitive skin.
Does anyone have a routine for pre‑inject prep that really helps? Maybe a light skin‑care step or a different injection angle? Also, have you seen a link between injection‑site reactions and the typical GI side‑effects? I’d love to hear how you’ve managed it.
