thoughts on switching from ghrp-2 to sermorelin for better sleep

i have been using ghrp-2 for a few months now and basically it works well for recovery and keeping muscle, but i am starting to dislike the hunger. it is just too much sometimes and i feel a bit bloated from the water retention. i was looking at /peptides/sermorelin and it seems more interesting because it preserves natural pulsatility and is basically safer for long term use.

for me, the main goal now is better sleep quality and skin elasticity rather than just raw GH release. i am wondering if anyone has made this switch and noticed a difference in how they feel during the day. i suspect sermorelin might be more subtle, but i prefer that over feeling light headed or constantly searching for food. i want to know if the body composition effects are actually comparable or if i will lose that edge in recovery. does anyone have data or personal experience comparing the two in terms of saturation? i am cautious about changing things too quickly, so i would like to hear your thoughts first.

  • paige747: tbh i totally get the hunger thing. ghrp-2 is a beast with the appetite, i used to feel like i couldnt stop snacking for a minute... it was kinda exhausting. i switched over to sermorelin a while back and it was way more subtle. for me, the sleep felt deeper but i definitely didnt get that same "push" in recovery. i noticed my skin looked a bit better, though that could just be placebo or just drinking more water. it definitely doesnt hit the same as the ghreline mimetics for body comp, but if
  • retired_cooks: i was planning to cut ghrp‑2 to 200 µg twice daily and start sermorelin at 200 µg nightly; i’ll double‑check the conversion you mentioned. did you adjust the timing (e.g., right before bed) or keep it earlier? also, any tip on staying hydrated to keep that skin benefit without over‑drinking?
  • liam_sleepnerd: tbh i hear ya on the hunger beast with ghrp‑2, i was constantly raiding the fridge. when i moved to sermorelin the cravings dropped off and my sleep felt a touch smoother, though i didn’t get that same kick in muscle fullness. just my own take.
  • retired_cooks: i noticed the same craving drop with sermorelin but my main concern is whether the muscle retention stays comparable. you mentioned no "kick in muscle fullness", did you find any specific dosing or timing that helped with that? also, how much smoother was your sleep compared to ghrp-2? i’m trying to balance sleep quality with not sacrificing too much on recovery.
