BPC-157 in Rats vs. Humans: Still Guesswork for Real Recovery?

This is a research overview from Examine about BPC-157. They go through all the available studies and say it works well for rats with injuries but there is very little proof it does anything in people.
Fwiw, I agree with them on that. I used BPC-157 for a tendon thing in my elbow after reading people swearing by it online, but honestly, no magic for me. Maybe a bit less pain, could just be placebo. I find it mad how hyped it is when every real review points out there is almost zero real human data, just lab animals. Still, loads of users here say it does loads for recovery. Makes me wonder if it is just working for some or if it is the hope effect.
If you tried BPC-157 after an actual injury, did you feel a real difference or just a bit of nothing like me? Anyone here see the same animal-to-human disconnect?
