Anyone else get buzzy or wired on IDRA-21?

Im pretty new and just trying out a few nootropics, so I grabbed some IDRA-21 after reading about it helping memory and focus. I started with a low dose, about 10 mg (split one of those little caps). First time I tried it, I had way more energy than I expected. Not shaky, but just kind of buzzy and super awake. Wasnt really anxious, but I actually felt like I needed to walk it off.
Im wondering if thats just part of how it works. The online writeups all talk about “AMPA potentiation” and memory, but not much about this wired feeling. I tried it again three days later with half as much and still got a similar vibe, but it faded after a few hours.
For anyone else whos tried it, does that overstimulated thing get less as you keep using it, or is it just how some people react? And have any of you noticed headaches with it? I got a dull one after the second dose, but I mightve just been dehydrated. Curious if this is normal or if I should skip it. 👀

- frugalrobin: Yeah, I have seen people describe that same buzzy, slightly over-awake feeling with racetam-ish stuff and AMPA-type compounds, so your reaction does not sound weird to me. For me, that kind of wired feeling is usually a sign the compound is pushing too far, not something I would chase. The headache could be dehydration, sleep, or just the compound itself, hard to know from one or two tries. I am new too, so I would want to see actual human data before trusting the memory hype, not gonna lie. If
- mel_c242: Same here, that buzzy, almost too awake feeling is exactly what put me off AMPA-ish nootropics. For me it did not feel like clean focus, more like my brain was being nudged too hard, ngl. Headache can be from the compound itself or just sleep and fluids, hard to separate. If it keeps feeling edgy, I would not chase it further.
- honest_nomad: Yeah, that lines up with what I’ve seen people report as well. For me, anything that feels more “amped” than clean focus usually ends up being a bit much, and I’m not convinced the memory hype is worth chasing if it just makes you feel odd... The headache bit is hard to pin down, could be sleep, hydration, or the compound itself. If it keeps doing that, I’d be leaning towards leaving it alone and seeing whether there’s any proper human data on it first.
