Trying weekly low‑dose rapamycin with metformin – what changes have you felt?

I've been on a low‑dose rapamycin protocol for about six weeks now, 4 mg injected subcut once a week, and i paired it with metformin 500 mg twice daily. Tbh the idea was to hit both mTOR inhibition and AMPK activation, see if the combo nudged my energy and recovery without major side effects. First couple of weeks I noticed a slight dip in morning stiffness, my knees felt a bit less creaky after a long bike ride, and i slept a touch deeper – I swear I woke up less often, maybe because rapamycin’s autophagy push helped with recovery.
I haven’t seen any mouth sores or GI upset yet, but i did get a weird metallic taste after the second metformin dose, which faded after a week. I’m curious if anyone else sees a measurable shift in skin texture or bloodwork lipids after a month, and whether you stagger the doses or take them together. Any thoughts or tweaks would be sweet as.
