Scalp irritation after using RU‑58841 – any tips to manage it?

Not gonna lie, I started using RU‑58841 at about 80 mg in a 1 ml almond‑oil vehicle on a weekly basis to stop seeing my hair thinning. In the first three weeks I noticed my scalp felt tight, a little itchy, and there were spots of redness. By week four it looked almost like a mild contact dermatitis – dry flakes that would flake off when I scratched.

I tried ditching the oil but the active still stuck, so I switched to a glycerin‑based gel that I mixed with the peptide, and I also cut the dose down to 50 mg daily. After a couple of weeks the itching subsided, but I still get a faint dryness at the vertex. I keep a small bottle of aloe‑gel ready for when it gets irritated, and I make sure to wash my scalp with a gentle, sulphate‑free shampoo before reapplying.

Does anyone else experience similar skin responses? Any add‑on treatments or different vehicles that help keep the scalp comfortable without losing effectiveness?
