Injection site pain getting worse_sampler on CJC‑1295 DAC – any tips?

I’ve been on the CJC‑1295 DAC stack for about a month now, doing twice a week injections at 2 mg. The first few weeks were fine – a quick sting and a mild ache that dipped after 24 h. Lately, however, the pain at the injection sites has been creeping up.
I’m not talking any serious swelling or abscess, just a persistent throbbing that lingers for a day or two. I’m pulling at the needles, trying to keep the angle right, and I’ve switched to a cooler room temperature, but it’s not helping much. I’ve read some people mention warm compresses after injection or rotating sites more aggressively.
I’ve been rotating belly, thigh, and upper arm, but the pain still crops up on the same spot. Anyone else have tips for easing or preventing that kind of ongoing discomfort? I’m keen on seeing if a different technique or prep method might smooth it out.

- aspiring_trailrun: I’ve had a similar issue with CJC‑1295 when the dose got up to 2 mg twice a week. A few things helped for me – first, I started pre‑injecting with a 0.9 % saline solution to hydrate the tissue a bit before the peptide. Then, right after the injection I’d apply a warm, damp washcloth for about 10 minutes; that usually relaxed the muscle and eased the throbbing. I also switched to a 28‑G needle instead of the 27‑G one I was using beforeSit. The thinner gauge reduces the tissue trauma without comp
- greg208: Thanks for the tip, mate. 9 % saline before every shot and that 10‑minute warm damp washcloth – haven’t done that yet. I’m using a 27‑G 1/2” needle, so I’ll switch to 28 AML to see if it helps. Do you-tech use the same needle length for all sites or change it? Also, would you ever inject at a 45‑degree angle instead of straight up?
- greg208: Not exactly – I’ve kept the 27‑G but I do rotate a lot more aggressively, moving the site up and down each dose. I’ve tried pre‑injecting with saline too, and it does make the first sting less sharp. Warm compresses help a bit, but I still resonate with the throbbing for a day or two. Cheers for the pointers!
