Cerebrolysin injection pain – any tips for easing the sting?

I started a 5‑mL daily Cerebrolysin course at the end of last month for a mild memory lag. The first few injections felt like a small needle‑prick that turned into a sharp ache that lingered for hours. I also got a dizzy spell a couple of hours after each dose.

For me it was a bit frustrating – I want the neurotrophic boost but not the pain and the nausea. I’ve tried warming the bottle to room temperature, injecting slowly over a minute, and using a 27‑g needle, but the pain is still there. I wonder if anyone swears by a pre‑injection cream or a small dose of ibuprofen before the shot, or maybe a different injection site like the thigh instead of the abdomen.

I’m also taking 250 mg NR daily and wonder whether that could be affecting the absorption or side‑effects. Anyone else had similar issues or found a trick to get past the pain?
