Copper peptide solution turned my skin green and itchy, should I worry?

I started using a 3% copper peptide (GHK‑Cu) solution on my face about a month ago, following an online routine that had a lot of hype. I applied it twice daily under my moisturizer, thinking it’d help collagen and maybe give my skin a quick glow. After a few weeks I noticed a daju greenish tint on the cheeks and a mild itching that didn’t go away. The irritation was mild, just a little redness and a itch that would itch back, but that green tone stuck like a stain on a white shirt.
I know copper peptides can cause skin irritation onthique skin and that overuse can lead to green‑blue discoloration, so I’m wondering if I’m just over‑exposing myself or if there’s a real copper‑overload risk with 3% topical. Does anyone else see a green hue? Should I check my serum copper or just reduce the frequency? I’m new to this, so any tips on how to use copper peptides more safely would be appreciated. I’m not at all planning to take it orally; just the topical stuff. Thanks.
