Urolithin A: Mild GI upset and how i handled it

I started taking Urolithin A at 750 mg a day a few months back after reading about its mitochondrial benefits. Within the first week I noticed a bit of stomach discomfort – a mild bloating and loose stools, nothing too severe but enough to make me question if the compound was right for me. ItDin the UK, I’m used to a decent fibre diet, so I suspected the extra load might be pushing my gut.
I cut back to 500 mg Ideas for a week and added a handful of MEGA‑fiber apples or a splash of apple cider vinegar to settle the gut. The symptoms eased, but the effect was still noticeable after a full 500‑mg dose, so I now take it with a small meal and a glass of water. I’m still monitoring bloodwork every six months to keep an eye on liver enzymes, since the dose is still on the higher side for personal use. I know it’s generally well tolerated, but a few GI hiccups do happen, so I’m sharing this in case it rings a bell for others.
