Trying a Low‑Dose Rapamycin/Metformin Combo – Any Cautions?

I've been reading up on rapamycin and metformin as longevity tools and I’m thinking about a 3‑mg weekly rapamycin pulse plus 500‑mg metformin twice a day. I know rapamycin can raise lipids and cause mouth sores, and metformin often messes with my gut and B12. I’m not a medical doc, I just want to know if anyone’s combined them and what’s happened.
For me, I’m watching liver enzymes and lipid panels weekly. I’m also curious about whether the 3‑mg/weekly dose is safe to take with 1 g/day of metformin, or if I should stagger them. I’ve never done a week‑long cycle like that.
Have folks noticed worsening of my gut or any unexpected side effects? Also, do you recommend any timing strategy so I can keep my sleep and energy levels stable? I’m trying to stay on track with my 10‑week cycle and want to avoid driving my health into a bad place. IMO, any advice or anecdote would help.
