Lector: Trying Amlexanox for a Weight Loss Plateau – any specific GI tips?

I started taking Amlexanox three months ago after hitting a 20‑lb stall on my semaglutide‑only run. The 50‑mg tablets, three times a day, seemed to fit my existing routine. Within the first week I noticed a mild stomach upset, nausea and a few loose stools, so classy that I had to twist the dose down to 25 mg twice a day.
Tbh I’m still not sure if_fecha, but the GI bother lessened after a couple of days. Energy levels, as measured by my daily HRV baseline, rose a bit on days when the stomach felt clear. Appetite stayed largely the same as before, which makes sense since the drug’s supposed to target insulin‑resistance pathways rather than chronic hunger.
I’ve been tracking weightFitness by weighing weekly and logging glucose every morning; the trend is a slight decline, but I’m not overly excited yet. I’ve got a blood panel coming up next week to'aut saw if there’s any evidence of improved insulin sensitivity. Anyone else pairing Amlexanox with GLP‑1 agonists? What dosing tricks have you found to keep the gut happy?
