Survodutide Trial: My Week 4 Appetite & Nausea Log

I just hit week four of my Survodutide regimen, starting at 1 mg once a week. The first dose was a rough ride – nausea, a few bouts of diarrhea, and that odd feeling of fullness that lasted all day. I kept a simple log: appetite (1 to 5), HRV, and daily food intake. By the end of the first week, my appetite dropped from a 4 to a 2 on my scale, and my HRV went up slightly. The nausea eased into a mild queasy sensation that I could manage with a handful of crackers before bedtime.

After the second week, my weight went down roughly 2.5 lbs, and I noticed more energy at the end of my shift, probably from increased hepatic fat oxidation. The third week was the toughest – I got a stomach cramp and a mild headache that lasted a day. I reduced my dose to 0.8 mg to see if that helps. By week four, the headaches disappeared, but I still get a bit of loose stool on the first day of the week.
For me the satiety effect feels real, but the GI side effects keep me on my toes. I’m keeping the log tight, watching bloodwork when I can, and will tweak the dose if the headaches return.

Keep a close eye on your weight and bloodwork, and maybe pair it with a bland diet first day, like rice and boiled egg, so the gut isn’t fighting a second time. Do you notice any change in your energy after a shift when you hit the
  • amber464: Thanks, megan_g. 8 mg after week 4 because the 1 mg dose left me with a loose stool on day 1. I’ve noticed a bit more steady energy after my night shift, but nothing like the burst I felt on the first 1 mg week. I’ll bump back up to 1 mg next week if the stool clears and will keep the bland‑rice/egg start to ease the gut. How do you track HRV when you hit the higher dose?
