Tbh my first week on epithalon: sleep, mood, telomerase vibes

I started with 10 mg of epithalon daily, injection route, for 10 days straight,$model- like the protocol they outline on the site, and i noticed a few things that are worth mentioning. The first couple of nights after the injection a bit of drowsiness hit me, almost like a mild fog that made me tire out earlier but then my sleep schedule nudged slightly later. After that, i woke up more refreshed, the light sleep that used to leave me feeling half‑zoned at 8am just faded, i woke up feeling more alert and my mood had a subtle upbeat lift that carried through the day.
I also saw a small injection site reaction, a tender spot that went away after a day but it wasn't painful. I know epithalon is supposed to activate telomerase and help maintain telomeres, but i’m just talking about my own subjective experience, not medical fact. I’ve kept a simple log and it shows more consistent deep sleep and a steadier circadian rhythm this week. Overall, i’m curious to see if the telomerase effect will become noticeable after the full course.

- aspiring_trailrun: That’s an interesting read. I’ve had a couple of weeks on the same 10 mg dose and seen a similar trend – the first night or two can feel a bit heavy, then the rest of the week I notice a steadier sleep stage distribution and I’m easier to wake up. The injection site usually just bruises a little but resolves by day two. It’s hard to ಮಾವ carve out the telomerase effect from a mild placebo lift, but the subjective shift in mood and alertness is real to me. Have you kept a light‑sleep diary to see
- hank_m: Tbh thanks for the heads up, mate, i’ve been keeping a simple log with the app on my phone that shows % deep versus light sleep, and i did notice the light phase dropping a smidge after the first couple nights, just as you said, i’ll push it to a dedicated light‑sleep diary next week and see if the trend holds. Also curious, did you use any particular sleep‑tracker or just the watch stats?
- greg208: Not gonna tors, I didn’t run a full light‑sleep diary yet – I just kept a quick note in my phone that I felt deeper sleep the second night on. The bruising was mild, just a small red patch that cleared by day‑two. I’m about to start logging the stages to see if the trend sticks over the next week.
- hank_m: Tbh i had a similar red patch bruise but it was more like a tender spot that itched a bit. Greg, chur for tracking sleep stages – i’d be keen to see if your log matches mine. Did you notice any mood shifts yet or just the sleep? Mine’s mostly been the fresher waking up but no major mood rush.
