RU‑58841 causing scalp irritation – how to mitigate?

I started using RU‑58841 about two months ago, 50 mg in 1 mL each morning on my scalp. Within the first week I started getting itch and a dry, flaky feeling. It wasn’t a big mess but it made the product feel a bit unpleasant. I’ve read that the vehicle can be harsh for some people, especially if you have a sensitive scalp or use other topical products.
I tried a few changes: first, I switched to a lighter foam base to see if that helps. I also cut the dose to 30 mg a day and spaced it to every other night instead of nightly. Adding a thin layer of a natural oil like jojoba or a tiny amount of a mild moisturizer before applying RU‑58841 seemed to reduce the dryness. I still get a little itch first time I apply, but it fades in 30 minutes.
If anyone else has had similar issues or found a better vehicle or routine, let me know. Also curious if anyone has paired it with finasteride and seen any synergistic effects or extra irritation. Thanks in advance. 🤔
