Personal Noopept run – memory buzz and a mild headache

I started taking noopept about a month ago after reading about its BDNF boost. I hit 20 mg in the morning and 20 mg in the late afternoon, split into two smaller doses for my 8‑hour shift. The first week I felt a clear lift in my ability to retain lecture notes.

Mind drifted less, and I could pull up details from the first slide within seconds. My focus stayed up through the second half of the day, so I was able to finish a 90‑minute research paper without pausing for a coffee break. The only side effect I noticed was a mild, throbbing headache in the first ten minutes after the morning dose.

I tucked a napkin under my forehead and it faded pretty quickly. After the second dose in the afternoon, I didn’t feel the same. I’m curious if anyone has tried a similar split‑dose schedule or switched to 30 mg total. How did it affect your focus and any sleep changes you noticed?
