Mild scalp irritation from RU-58841, anyone else get this?

I started reading about RU-58841 because I wanted something local for hair, but I am being very cautious with it. I have not used it long enough to say anything solid, only noticed that a few people report scalp dryness and irritation when the vehicle is not well tolerated. That part makes sense to me, because with topicals the solvent itself can be the problem, not only the active compound.

I am also wondering how people are checking safety here. Do you watch for itching, redness, flakes, or any shedding change before continuing? If someone is already using finasteride, is there any reason to be extra careful with overlap, or is the main issue just local skin reaction?

For me, if I ever try it, I would keep it very simple at first and not mix a lot of new things together. Too many stacks at once is asking for confusion, na? I would rather know what is causing what. If anyone has had contact dermatitis or a weird scalp reaction, kindly share how it showed up and what helped.

• jade494: Yes, that is my worry too. If the scalp is already getting itchy or stingy, I would not keep pushing it just to see. For me, it becomes impossible to tell if RU is doing anything useful or just annoying the skin. Have you seen any one vehicle that seems less irritating, or is it hit and miss only?
