Got a mild rise in liver enzymes on oxandrolone – anyone else see that?

I’ve been on oxandrolone 20 mg a day split into two doses for about six weeks to help with lean muscle gain after a few months of inactivity. I’ve always checked my bloodwork before starting any peptide stuff, so my baseline LFTs were in the normal range – ALT 22, AST 18, GGT 30. After this run I ran the same panels again, and ALT was up to 45 U/L and AST to 38 U/L, a bit above the normal upper limits for my lab.

I didn’t feel any unusual symptoms apart from a mild fatigue that came on mid‑morning. I’m wondering if the dose is just a bit high or if the liver is just a bit sensitive to the steroid. I’ve only been on it for 6 weeks, so I’m considering cutting it back to 10 mg or pausing for a month to see if the levels drop.

Have any of you noticed the same or had to tweak the dose? Also, does anyone think a different timing or a lighter workout might help mitigate the enzyme rise?
