Amlexanox: My 4‑week trial of inflammation‑based weight loss

I started Amlexanox a month ago to see if cutting down inflammation could lift a stubborn weight plateau. The protocol I followed was 25 mg three times a day, which is the lower end of the recommended range. I’ve been tracking my weight, hunger scores, and HRV with the same app I use for other supplement trials.

After the first week I noticed a slight increase in hunger, but by week two the appetite had dropped to about a 2‑on‑10 scale. The weight loss was modest – around 3 % ofikki, which feels decent when you’re stuck at a plateau. The side‑effects were predictable: mild GI upset and an occasional headache, but nothing severe.

The only thing that surprised me was a 10‑minute dip in HRV right after the first dose of the day – but that went away after a few days. Overall, the compound looks promising for slightly boosting energy expenditure and improving insulin sensitivity, but I’ll keep an eye on the inflammation markers and see if the weight loss accelerates in the next month.
